At Novaera, our students are given the opportunity to push their dancing to a new level
by joining our teams to perform and/or compete at various national and international
events.
Team training prepares dancers to perform and/or compete, focusing on group
synchronization, technique, choreography, and stage presence to ensure a polished
performance.
Amateur dancers perform a dance routine together, focusing on technique and performance
development.
Pro-Am showcases pair professional dancers with amateurs for joint performances,
allowing students to dance alongside their pro partners. This provides an opportunity to
perform in a supportive setting while receiving expert guidance.
Solo showcases feature individual dancers performing their own dance routine
CouplesCouples showcases feature one dancer as the lead and the other as the follow.
Same-genderSame-gender showcases allow two dancers of the same gender to perform a dance routine together.
Age divisionsAge divisions vary by competition, but are generally divided into the following categories: 8 and under, 12 and under, 17 and under, over 40, over 50, and over 60.
Heated competitionsHeated competitions involve dancers competing alongside each other on stage in improvised, social dance-based performances.
